Post-doctoral research fellow at Life and Health Sciences Research Institute (ICVS), Schoolof Health Sciences,University of Minho, Braga, Portugal.

Graduated in Applied Biology in 2005, by the University of Minho, and completed the PhDin Health Sciences in March 2011, at School of Health Sciences, University of Minho. During the PhD was a Visiting Research Fellow at The Institute of Cancer Research, London, UK, under the supervision of Dr. Chris Jones.

Developed research works using different tumor models, having acquired broad experience in the Oncobiology research field. The domain of specialization is molecular characterization of therapeutic targets at the protein expression level; Mutational analysis and genotyping of polymorphisms; Cancer genetic instability and In vitro functional studies: 2D and 3D cell culture models.
