Vítor Pinto graduated in Biochemistry by the University of Porto in 2004 and completed a PhD degree in Human Biology by the Porto’s Medical School in 2010.The work developed by Vítor Pinto during his PhD was performed in the Institute for Molecular and Cell Biology, where he specialized in ex-vivo electrophysiological recordings. Soon after the completion of his PhD, Vítor Pinto moved to the Life and Health Science Research Institute. Since then, Vítor Pinto is PI in a project dedicated to the study of synaptic and network malfunctions in Alzheimer’s disease.
